Diamond Atelier offers specially made 17-inch cross-spoke wheelsets in the style used on the Mark II Evo. The set price is €4,000 net. Final specification and delivery scope are confirmed for the individual motorcycle before an order is accepted.
Why is the model alone not enough?
Hub and rim configuration, axle, fork, brakes, rear drive, tyre clearance and wheel offset must work together. A wheel built for one R100R-based motorcycle is not automatically a direct fit on another two-valve BMW or an R nineT. Even apparently similar hubs or rims can change the brake and spoke geometry.
Why choose 17 inches?
Wheel diameter influences tyre options, stance, gearing through rolling circumference and how the motorcycle steers. The appearance is only one part of the brief. We consider the front and rear as a pair so that the motorcycle keeps coherent geometry and enough clearance through suspension travel.
What is checked before the specification is fixed?
We record the exact donor, existing wheel and brake parts, desired tyre dimensions and the intended use. Then we check offsets, fastening, brake clearance and the space around the swingarm and bodywork. The individual build determines the suitable hub, rim width and finish.
