What makes a short-tail conversion more than a seat swap?
Seat shape, rear support, light position, indicators, number plate, wiring and the desired passenger arrangement must work together. A part that looks similar in photographs may have different mounting and electrical interfaces on another R nineT version.
What is available from Diamond Atelier?
The short Urban21 rear section is available as an individual part. Its fit has been checked for the older R nineT family before the R 12 generation. Because the exact submodel, year and supplied components determine the installation, we confirm those details before offering a specific kit. The BMW R 12 and R 12 nineT are not included in this statement.
How are lights connected?
Diamond Atelier wires rear lighting individually for the actual motorcycle and selected lamps; we do not offer a one-size-fits-all LED adapter harness. A clean installation checks the pinout, polarity, load behaviour, lamp functions, connector weather protection and diagnostic messages. A custom loom needs to remain serviceable.
